The Vieilles Vignes from Domaine Daniel Etienne Defaix have a mean age of 48 years,the oldest dating back to 1905, on a terroir of the Upper Jurassic composed of Kimmeridgian marls with very small fossilized oysters. The wine is lively, straight, spontaneous.
