Des recherches menées sur certaines souches centenaires présentes dans le vignoble 'I Rasoli' ont révélé qu'elles avaient été greffées sur un clone français actuellement introuvable, probablement dans la première réponse à la peste du phylloxéra, vers la fin du XIXe siècle. Ici est née l'idée de replanter une micro parcelle en sélectionnant les pousses de ces souches afin d'obtenir un vin qui sent non seulement l'histoire, mais surtout : la renaissance.

 

The "I Rasoli" vineyard rests on straight footing (piede franco), unique to the rest of the vines of our vineyard. Research conducted on some centuries-old strains present revealed that they had been grafted on a French clone currently unobtainable, probably in the first response to the plague of phylloxera, towards the end of the nineteenth century. Here was born the idea of ​​replanting a micro plot of land by selecting the shoots from these strains in order to obtain a wine that not only smacks of history, but above all: of rebirth.
